Pastor Steve And Samantha Nelson

- Pastor Steve is an ordained minister and serves as President of The Hope of Survivors. He holds a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry as well as a Doctoral degree in Ministry. He is the author of the book Forever Free, as well as countless articles and devotionals. He has also spoken throughout the U.S. and in several countries on the topic of clergy sexual abuse and has provided training seminars to clergy and church leaders. Steve answered the call to become a pastor in 2009 and has served in the Illinois Conference, the Iowa-Missouri Conference and the Rocky Mountain Conference. He is currently the senior pastor of the Piñon Hills, Aztec, Waterflow and La Vida Mission churches.
             


- Samantha (now retired) served for 20 years as Vice President and CEO of The Hope of Survivors. She has spoken throughout the U.S. as well as in several countries on the topics of clergy sexual abuse. She holds an Associate degree in Biblical Counseling as well as a Bachelor of Divinity degree. She is author of the book Reaching the Hurting, as well as multiple articles, devotionals, and a training manual for peer support groups. She has been serving alongside her husband in pastoral ministry since 2009.
